Very special place! Historic buildings and rooms are so charming!! We lucked out with stunning weather and minimal fog. No A/C but usually not needed. I want to return when it is cold/winter to use the fireplace in room and experience during a different season. Wonderful spa with skilled staff. I wish the spa offered more than just apples, water and tea. Most high end spas also have a little granola or nuts or something with more substance. We have a delicious light lunch after our treatments at spa on a nice shaded patio with a fire pit and lounged by the small sunny pool for a bit the let our relaxation set in. They have a nice upscale restaurant and also more casual restaurant/bar with a slightly more low key menu but still elegant cozy ambiance. The property is protected a bit from wind that often blows in thru the Golden Gate. Stunning views of SF and bridge. Absolutely Loved the wine hour just to sit on the huge porch of main building in the sizable rocking chairs to take in the stunning views. It’s nice that they have a little mercantile store with gifts and essentials as well as light snacks/charcuterie/drinks for purchase.
