From the moment your party pulls through the gates, they experience the property as a destination unto itself: ceremony spaces overlook vines, reception areas open to gardens, and the architecture itself becomes the backdrop.
Guests leave with memories of the landscape, the light, and hours spent moving through distinct rooms and outdoor pavilions that feel removed from everyday life.
Best wedding or private event location in Central California. We had our wedding this past April, and it was one we and our guests will never forget. From the moment we stepped on the property, my wife and I knew that this was the place we wanted to get married. The chateau was beautiful inside and out. The vegetation was well-maintained, which made our wedding 1000% more attractive. I don't want to forget about our fantastic host, Lindsey. She was great from start to finish. She was very nice and welcoming and made sure we were fully equipped and ready for the big day. We can't thank them enough for hosting us and providing us with such a beautiful venue.

Asked along the way.
Can we bring our own caterer or must we use on-site catering?+
Château Noland offers an in-house catering team, though the venue works with couples on custom menus and can often accommodate outside sommelier services given the wine-country location.
Is the venue available year-round?+
Yes. The property is available for events spring through fall with limited winter dates. Peak season (May through October) books 12 to 18 months in advance.
What is included in the venue fee?+
The ceremony fee includes tables, chairs, linens, basic lighting, and grounds access from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on your wedding day. Reception packages add catering, bar service, and staff.
Are there lodging options on or near the property?+
The estate does not have overnight guest rooms, but San Luis Obispo town (15 minutes away) offers hotels, inns, and vacation rentals. Many couples arrange group room blocks at nearby properties.
What is the weather like in late summer and fall?+
San Luis Obispo averages 75 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit in September and October with minimal rainfall. Evenings cool to the 50s, making layering advisable for guests.
