Borgo Bucciano in San Miniato, open June–September.
Borgo Bucciano rises from the Tuscan hills near San Miniato with terraced gardens commanding views across rolling countryside.
This restored rural estate operates as a working hotel, offering 10 rooms within its stone buildings plus separate bridal quarters, anchoring weddings to the landscape rather than floating above it.
Ceremonies unfold in the Pine Garden; receptions move to the Italian Garden for aperitifs, then into vaulted halls or onto the panoramic terrace facing vineyards and distant hills.
During our road trip through Tuscany, we discovered this beautiful property by chance, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our journey. The location and views are absolutely breathtaking, and the atmosphere is truly unique. What impressed us most was the warmth and friendliness of the entire staff. The beautifully restored 17th-century castle combines history, charm, and modern comfort in a remarkable way. The story behind the estate makes the experience even more special. A magical place that we highly recommend and would love to visit again.
