The Orangery, reopened in 2024 after a £2m rebuild that replaced the glass roof with timber and slate, seats 150 and takes 250 standing, with its own entrance from the formal gardens and a licence that runs to 23:00.

How many guests can Blenheim Palace hold?+
The Orangery seats 150 and holds 250 for a standing reception. The Great Hall, Saloon and Long Library taken together are quoted for up to 280 guests, with dinner in the Long Library and dancing in the Great Hall.
What does a wedding at Blenheim Palace cost?+
Blenheim publishes hire prices. The Orangery starts from about £6,650, and the Great Hall, Saloon and Long Library package is quoted at £37,800 Sunday to Thursday and £43,800 on Fridays, Saturdays and bank holiday Sundays. Catering is separate.
Can guests stay at the palace?+
Not in the palace itself. The estate has lodges and cottages, and Woodstock, five minutes away, has the Feathers and the Bear plus a spread of smaller hotels and rentals for the rest of the party.
Is there a curfew?+
Yes. The Orangery holds an alcohol licence to 23:00, and every event on the estate ends by arrangement rather than running into the small hours, so plan the band and the send-off around a fixed finish.
Where can the ceremony take place?+
Blenheim is licensed for civil ceremonies indoors and holds several settings in the formal gardens, including the Italian Garden, the Rose Garden and the Water Terraces, with the palace behind you in every photograph.
How do guests get there from London?+
It is about 65 miles from central London and an hour and a quarter from Heathrow by car. Trains run to Oxford Parkway or Hanborough, each about fifteen minutes from Woodstock by taxi.
