★★★★☆ We had a very pleasant stay at Amalia Hotel Athens. The reception staff were exceptionally kind, polite, and knowledgeable — always eager to help with directions and recommendations. The rooms are a bit dated (especially the carpet), but they were very clean and comfortable, which mattered most to us. Breakfast was generous and tasty, with a nice variety: Greek filter coffee and espresso options, plenty of fresh vegetables, and a good selection of baked items. Checkout was smooth and friendly as well. The location is a big plus — right across from a beautiful garden and within reasonable walking distance of the Acropolis. Overall, a very good experience and a solid choice for staying in Athens.
