Agriturismo La Chiusa Tuscany in Montefollonico.

Perched in the rolling hills of Val d'Orcia, Agriturismo La Chiusa commands sweeping views across Tuscany's signature landscape of cypress-lined roads and clay hillsides.

This centuries-old farmhouse property sits at elevation with panoramic vistas stretching toward Monte Amiata, offering stone terraces and gardens that frame the countryside on three sides.

The venue preserves its agricultural heritage while functioning as a full-service hotel, creating an authentic Tuscan backdrop for ceremonies and receptions.

We’d then return to relax or stroll through the olive groves before heading out again around 5 p.m. in our little bus for sightseeing or wine tasting, always ending the day with a wonderful dinner. At La Chuisa, Linda led us in a bread-making class—our loaves turned out amazing! We also had a pasta-making lesson, and of course, enjoyed dining on our own creations. Our room (#13) was lovely, featuring large windows that opened to stunning views of the Tuscan countryside—it was like waking up to a painting every morning. The space was spotless and had that perfect rustic charm we were hoping for. In addition to the daily breakfasts (complete with delicious cappuccinos), we dined at La Chuisa three times—once for lunch on the back terrace, which offered breathtaking views, and twice for dinner. Both dinners were exceptional, especially since we got to help make the pasta! Linda and George are outstanding hosts—warm, fun, and fully engaged throughout the tours. They join in at meals and conversations, making the whole experience feel personal and special. We also loved relaxing with afternoon cocktails while taking in the panoramic scenery—the bartender makes an incredible spicy margarita! We highly recommend Experience Tuscany at La Chuisa to anyone visiting the region who wants to enjoy a variety of authentic Tuscan experiences in just five days. The food is amazing, the hosts are exceptional, and the setting is simply unforgettable. – Dann & Nancy
