Just…wow. My husband and I had been looking forward to our stay here for almost two years and it exceeded every expectation. Every detail of our stay was impeccable. We are pretty well travelled and I can say without hesitation that this was the best hotel experience that we have ever had. Quiet luxury defined. Every staff member that we met was thoughtful and attentive. Our room and communal spaces were all decorated in lush vintage colors and decor. Luxurious but with a country cottage feel that was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed the closeness of Montepulciano and Pienza of course but Lupaia was the highlight of our stay in the area. 4 days/nights of relaxation and magical meals. We had breakfast and dinner in the cozy restaurant every morning and night. Every night was a new seasonal 4 course meal. We loved checking the board every morning to see what we could look forward to in the evening. Truffle season took a couple of our pasta and risotto dishes to the next level. I can’t say enough about the magical place that is Lupaia and all the wonderful staff who work there. We can’t stop talking about it to our friends and family and would absolutely recommend to everyone. Looking forward to returning someday in the future!
