Great location for a quiet holiday. As an active but retired couple we didn’t want nightlife or entertainment. The staff were all friendly and polite ( despite it being the end of a long season). The room was a good size, clean and kept clean all week. The food wasn’t gourmet but it was tasty. There was always a varied choice of hot food. Some variety of salads but the cold buffet was generally the same every day. Not a problem for us as there was plenty of choice and we could ‘ring the changes’. Lots of yummy desserts available each day. The packed lunch was dreadful! Only had it once and fed the soggy sandwiches to the fish! If you’re looking for a perfect ‘Full English’ breakfast - stay in England. If you’re looking for crazy night life - don’t book. If you have kids and want to dump them - forget this hotel. If you want a quiet location and want a decent meal whenever you’re hungry it’s perfect. The harbour is 5 minutes walk away down a hill. There’s a small beach very close. The local wine and beers available with the all inclusive package were perfectly nice. If you want vintage bottles you must expect to pay the price. The hotel pools were Coll but it was October. Very few of the other guests were English. The Zante Sun resort was perfect for us. We did our research before we booked.

I have never seen a 4 star hotel ALL IN without bottles of water included in the price in the rooms (all in), without hotel room slippers/bathrobe in the rooms. While the hotel staff enjoy drinking water in bottles, the customers have to pay it or drink TAP WATER that caused belly pain! The parking is 19€ a day while it’s free in the other 4 stars hotels. We also have to pay towels for the swimming pools, luckily is the oxygen to breathe free in this hotel ! Regarding the restaurant, they only have very cheap ingredients for the food. The processed juices and the drinks are very cheap, unhealthy and undrinkable. There is no herbal tea. The soup is really VERY salty ! They give only aluminum utensils and plastic bowls to the customers which are carcinogenic. They also use plastic and aluminum to cover hot food which are also unhealthy and carcinogenic. There are not enough diversity in the food, not enough tasty fish nor enough different fruits (always oranges, apples, pineapples and grapefruit EVERY single day). There are only electric water heaters in plastic which are carcinogenic instead of inox 18/10. There was a chair full of blood in the restaurant and we found aluminum in our food. There are no activities in the evening for the tourists at the hotel like for the other 4-5 star hotels. The hotel is expensive for the LOW QUALITY/LOW DIVERSITY of food we get BUT we also have to pay 10€ per night EXTRA for taxes ! We have to PAY the bottles of water, that’s incredible!

I had a great stay at this hotel! The staff were amazing – very kind, hardworking, and always helpful. The room was clean and spacious, and towels were changed every day, which was a nice touch. Everything was really well looked after, including the shared areas. The food was very good – there was always something new and tasty to try, so it never got boring. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. I’d happily come back!
