After some troubles at the start we were happy with the appartement. Even rhough we booked the studio appartement, we got the rooftop appartment where we were hitting our heads constantly. After complaining and discussing with the manager we got a different appartment (but had to pay 35€ cleaning fee cash). We did no felt treated very nicely by the manager. The new room was nice, we had a view on the beautiful Etna. The mattress and the pillows were really hard and not that comfortable to be honest. There is a street right nearby, so its not quiet. (Didnt bother us much) The rooms were very clean. Overall it was a pleasant stay. DEFINITELY have a rental car when youre there. The citys nearby arent worth visiting. A safe parking place is on the property! Try Naxos, Taormina & Castelomola. Only the beach Mascali is 10 minutes by foot away. The pool closes at 19 oclock. The garden looks very well taken care of, the caretaker was a nice guy as well. The service personal was kind the rest of the stay after our initial troubles. We wished the staff would speak better English, it wasnt all too easy to communicate at times even with little things like a broken hairdryer.
