01 · In a sentence

Villa Giovanna a Sorrento in Sorrento, open MayAugust.

Perched on the Sorrentine Peninsula with sweeping views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and Capri beyond, Villa Giovanna commands a dramatic clifftop position overlooking the Amalfi Coast.

The hotel's terraced gardens cascade down sun-drenched hillsides, with Mediterranean vegetation framing ceremony backdrops of blue water and distant mountain silhouettes.

Stone archways, lemon trees, and whitewashed architecture create an authentic Campanian landscape that has hosted celebrations for 20+ years.

My partner and I loved Villa Giovanna and wished we could stay longer! The views were unbeatable and the hospitality was impeccable. They also provided one of the best breakfasts we had during our entire trip to Italy. Sorrento has so much to offer but it was very nice to stay a little removed from the city center, so it was easy to drive in and out. The villa offered a very convenient shuttle so we did not feel it was out of the way. You won't regret this stay!
