Villa Crawford in Sant'Agnello.

Built in the early 20th century as a private mansion overlooking the Sorrento Peninsula, Villa Crawford has been meticulously restored to operate as a luxury hotel while preserving its original architectural character and period details.

The belle époque property features sweeping Campanian coastal views and maintains the intimate atmosphere of a stately residence.

Now operating as a 4-star destination venue, it hosts ceremonies and receptions in gardens and indoor spaces that reflect its storied past.

The terrace is definitely the highlight of this place, it’s beautiful and such a great spot to relax. The breakfast was pretty average, but not bad at all. The property itself is nice and spacious, though the rooms are quite small. One major downside was the poor cell reception inside the rooms, which made it hard to stay connected. That being said, it’s good to know that the terrace often hosts evening events, so it can get a bit busy or crowded on some nights. There’s still a section available for hotel guests, but the lively atmosphere is part of the charm, and pretty common for hotels in Sorrento. Overall, despite a few drawbacks, it was still a pleasant stay!
