Udaya Resort & Spa is one of the most amazing hotels I have ever stayed at. Location wise, it is not far from the Ubud city centre & the hotel does offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from the centre. During my stay, the atmosphere has always been friendly, with all the staff saying hello and even "welcome home." The general manager Budi even said to see Udaya as our family. I truly felt like they were my family. Our pool suite was always clean and every detail at this hotel, right down to the flowers and the beautiful koi ponds, are so beautifully executed that it makes it truly stand out as an amazing resort. You will be wowed by the design of this place. The hotel's restaurant, Deeva, is also a wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend you choose the option to have breakfast included during your stay. You get so many options for your breakfast and it comes with yummy Balinese sweets as well! Also, if you have an early morning excursion or check out, Deeva restaurant can prepare you a take away box (as long as you give them 24hr advance notice). My friend and I also ate at the restaurant for dinner and the food was always spectacular and fresh. I will be coming back to Udaya one day in the future - I loved this place so much. Special thanks to all the staff (I am sorry we couldn't remember all your names). Special thanks to Budi, Lista, Eka, Sukma, Sutri, Dek na, Putra, Cynta, Kris, & Agus for a wonderful stay.
