The Edition Riviera Maya is simply incredible. Service: The staff is as good as it gets for a world class luxury property. They are attentive, proactive and everywhere. Most importantly it's clear that management has looked to hire and instill a true service culture where it's not just about delivering a great experience, but also connecting with guests at a personal level. Everyone seemed honored to work at that property which stood out to us. Food: This is our number one factor when selecting a vacation location. Between the Edition and St Regis next door we ate at 7 different restaurants, all on property. Each venue brought its own style, cuisine and personal touches. We particularly loved lunch at So'ol and Duryeas for dinner as well as the incredible breakfast at Kitchen. There are no weak spots in their F&B program. Enjoy! Pool / Beach: One thing that stood out is the fact that there is no shortage of chairs, cabanas, umbrellas, couches, etc across multiple pools. Something for everyone, in addition to random bars, ice cream carts, and similar little touches everywhere. Property: The resort is tucked into a nature preserve and the grounds are stunning. It's a large property but easily walkable or the staff with take you around in golf carts on demand. Most spaces are open air and dramatic, yet comfortable. Rooms: 5 Star luxury with high ceilings, big patios and an enormous rain shower.

What's the weather like for a destination wedding here?+
Playa del Carmen enjoys warm weather year-round (75–88°F). November–April offers the most pleasant conditions with lower humidity. Hurricane season peaks August–October; many couples choose shoulder months for better rates and comfort.
Do guests need a passport?+
U.S. and Canadian citizens need a valid passport. Mexico does not currently require a visa for U.S./Canadian tourists staying under 180 days. Check current travel advisories before booking.
