We just got back from a long weekend here and I’m already planning our next trip. This place has that laid-back, sunny Florida resort vibe, tucked right into Southwest Michigan — an easy drive for us. Perfect for families with little ones. Our 4-year-old did not want to leave. The pool area was a highlight, with a great outdoor bar so the adults could relax while keeping an eye on her splashing around. We also loved the restaurant right on the river — sitting outside with the water view during dinner was such a peaceful way to end the day, and the food was excellent. Bonus: it’s only a 5-minute drive to Silver Beach, a fantastic public beach, so we got the best of both worlds — resort relaxation and a classic Lake Michigan beach day. Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff were friendly throughout, and the whole property gave us that easygoing resort feel without needing to hop on a plane. We’ll definitely be back!
