Only 1 star because of lack of menu choice if you have dietary issues, no flexibility or ability to freshly prepare for my gluten free Coeliac requirements. If booked on dinner and breakfast tarrif the £35 allowance barely covers a main course and menu choices can be restrictive. Gardens are delightful and rooms are nicely furnished but windows are not easily opened and sash-windows do not stay open! Service was somewhat 'sloppy' but staff are very friendly and helpful. As we left on 2nd June scaffolding was being erected so best check!!
