We had a wonderful dinner experience at Port of Call at Taj Samudra. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety and excellent quality. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented. What made our evening truly special was the exceptional hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the night. They went above and beyond by surprising my daughter with a complimentary birthday cake, which made her feel so special and happy. It was such a thoughtful and kind gesture. They also kindly helped us take family photos and made sure we captured beautiful memories of the celebration. That extra care and warmth meant a lot to us. A special thank you to Wasala, Chathura, Amare, and Ruwan for their outstanding service and genuine kindness. They truly made our family celebration unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and exceptional service at Taj Samudra!

We had a wonderful and pleasant holiday stay at Taj Samudra on 28th February 2026. First of all, we truly admired the hotel’s grand and elegant appearance. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, which made our stay relaxing. The beautiful sea view, along with the lovely city-side view, was absolutely marvelous. The staff was highly professional, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. One of the most remarkable highlights was the food spread. The buffet was delicious and offered an exceptional variety. For the first time, we experienced truly Indian cultural food in a five-star hotel, which was outstanding. I would like to extend a special thank to Mr. Indunil, the Restaurant Manager, who personally guided us and helped us explore a variety of delicious Indian food. His hospitality made our dining experience even more enjoyable. My wife and children truly had a great time. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this hotel. We would definitely love to stay here again. Thank you, Taj Samudra, for the memorable hospitality.

Nida Kirmani

Stayed here for 4 nights for a conference. Got a lovely room facing the lake but had to change it after 2 nights because it was quite noisy at night. They were very accommodating, & gave me a room facing the Galle Face green, which was quieter the first night but a little noisy on the second night (there was an event on the Green, but it wrapped up by around 11 pm). The staff was super kind & hospitable, the food was amazing, & the gym/pool were also really nice. Really enjoyed my stay overall.
