I had an absolutely wonderful experience dining here. The food was exceptional—every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. You can truly tell that great care goes into both preparation and quality. What made the visit even more memorable was the outstanding service. Suraj Shehan was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional, making sure everything was perfect throughout. And special thanks to Nilupul as well, whose warm attitude and prompt service added such a welcoming touch to the whole experience.

I recently stayed at The Kingsbury Hotel in Colombo, and overall it was a decent experience. The location is definitely one of the biggest advantages of this hotel. It is very close to Galle Face Green and offers easy access to many attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas in Colombo. The room was clean and reasonably comfortable, although some parts of the furniture and bathroom felt slightly outdated. The housekeeping staff did a good job maintaining cleanliness throughout our stay. The bed was comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast had a good variety of local and international options. While the selection was impressive, the taste of some dishes was average rather than exceptional. The restaurant staff were polite, though service during busy hours felt a bit slow. The rooftop area and pool were nice, offering a pleasant view of the ocean. It’s a good place to relax in the evening. However, the pool area can get crowded at times. Overall, The Kingsbury is a good hotel with a great location and decent facilities. It may not feel extremely luxurious in every aspect, but it provides a comfortable stay in Colombo.

This hotel is truly exceptional. We stayed for a few days, and the level of service was on another level entirely. From the doorman to the gym team and every staff member we encountered, everyone went above and beyond anything I have experienced before. Having lived and worked around the world, I can honestly say that Sri Lankan hospitality is something the West could truly aspire to. The warmth, genuine care, and professionalism were simply outstanding. We felt welcomed, valued, and completely looked after throughout our stay. Special thanks to the front of house director he was brilliant!!! We stayed in room 710 .
