An outstanding 5-night stay with my wife and 4-year-old daughter. Duty Manager Supun upgraded us to a suite and, as the room wasn’t ready on arrival, arranged complimentary lunch and kept us personally updated until the team came to us with the keys. That set the tone perfectly. Cleanliness throughout was impeccable — the rooms were immaculate every single day. A real standout moment: I accidentally left our room safe open with electronics and nearly £1,000 in cash inside. Not a thing had been touched. That kind of integrity says everything about the people here. The kids’ club was a huge hit — our daughter bonded with Cheryl and woke up every morning wanting to go back. Pool + Bar 09 was another favourite; great staff, great food, and attentive lifeguards who went above and beyond (one even had my wife’s pool-splashed glasses cleaned spotless). My wife’s spa visit was equally impressive — professional, calm, and unhurried. Security across the property was also excellent and genuinely reassuring. A special mention to Staten Bar & Grill — the Australian Tajima Wagyu Ribeye was one of the finest steaks we’ve ever had, and Sachin’s service was flawless. Also worth noting: ask about THE LIFE membership — at 50,000 LKR, Melon walked us through the benefits and we more than made our money back in five days. We will absolutely be returning.
