We booked the Royal Family Lounge Suite at Helios, which is a large appartment with a kitchen and a view over the ocean. The appartment was great, very spacious and modern with lots of space to relax and hang out. The resort in general was also very nice, with lots of activities and fun stuff to do for kids in all ages. The cleaning however was not great. When we arrived the first day there was a few broken glass shards and traces of dirt on the floor, so we immediately requested to have the floor cleaned again. After the second cleaning there was still tiny glass shards on the floor, so we had to make yet another request to have the floor cleaned again before the glass was finally gone. We noticed after a few days that some of the cleaning ladies did not clean the floors with water, just dry mops, which would explain why our floor was dirty in the first place. This is just beyond unacceptable for any hotel regardless of the number of stars. The resort was great and the room was above expectations, but it still ends up with a lower score due to bad cleaning, which is so just so unnecessary. This is the first time I've ever complained about bad cleaning at a hotel, but when there's broken glass on the floor and visible traces of dirt around the appartment then someone is not doing their job properly.
