Samode Bagh in Rajasthan 303806, open April–October.
Samode Bagh stands apart with its authentic palace-garden heritage spanning 48 acres of manicured landscapes and heritage architecture in rural Rajasthan.
Unlike typical resort weddings, this property operates as a working royal estate where ceremonies unfold against centuries-old structures, vintage carriages, and ornamental gardens originally designed for maharajahs.
The venue grants exclusive access to heritage spaces unavailable at standard hotel properties.
Samode bagh is easily one of the most outstanding and unique hotels, instead of rooms in a building there are camps in an open space, we stayed in the cottages which are just mini concrete houses but with a camp roof. Food is amazing and they have a wide variety, there are a bunch of activities to do like play cricket, table tennis, play board games (ludo, snakes and ladders, carrots, and chess), snooker, or just relax and go to their Mughal gardens. The mughal gardens are huge and take like half of the property's space. They even have animals (mainly birds), and I found a civet (like a racoon), a Rose-ringed parakeet (green parrot), squirrels, and jungle babbles (birds). The suites have a whole other area on the right side of the property. Peak season is around October. There are cycles too, from which I learnt how to cycle in 2 days. They even have their own pool which is big, and a gym which is smaller and mainly have weights. Instead of the treadmill if you want a real exercise I would recommend to just jog around the property. Overall very good hotel and very friendly staff. Recommended

Asked along the way.
What makes Samode Bagh different from other Rajasthan wedding venues?+
This is an active royal estate, not a converted hotel. The 48-acre property retains original palace architecture, heritage furnishings, and working elements like stables and vintage carriages. Ceremonies take place within authentic historical structures rather than purpose-built event spaces.
How many guests can the venue accommodate?+
Samode Bagh hosts 20-150 guests across multiple configuration options. On-site accommodations support 120+ overnight guests in heritage rooms and palace courtyard suites.
What's included in a wedding package?+
Packages typically include venue rental, catering, decor consultation, guest accommodations, and access to heritage spaces. Elephant rides, cavalry escorts, and vintage carriage processions are available as add-ons.
What is the nearest airport?+
Jaipur International Airport (JAI) is 50km away, approximately 90 minutes by car. Domestic flights connect to Delhi, Mumbai, and other major Indian cities.
Can we customize décor in the heritage spaces?+
Yes. The venue allows personalized décor while maintaining the integrity of heritage structures. The on-site team coordinates designs that enhance rather than obscure the property's architectural character.
