Podere Sant'Elena Bed Breakfast San Gimignano in San Gimignano, open JuneNovember.

Podere Sant'Elena is a restored 16th-century farmhouse in the heart of Tuscany's Val d'Orcia region, originally built as an agricultural estate and carefully renovated to preserve its stone architecture and period character.

The property maintains its rural authenticity while offering modern amenities, combining the working landscape of olive groves and vineyards with intimate indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces.

Set 5 kilometers from the medieval hilltop town of San Gimignano, it provides an authentic Tuscan backdrop for ceremonies and receptions.

Amazing Podere ran by the wonderful Barbara who was kind and helpful with strong recommendations. A short drive from many beautiful Tuscan towns, particularly Volterra, and with great views of and walkable to San Gimignano. The view of the countryside and towers of San Gimignano is particularly breathtaking, especially at sunset. Enjoy the view from the pool set above an olive grove, or take it in at breakfast where delicious food is served - Barbara is such a good baker that she has a bakery in town. Don’t miss the pastries! I’d recommend the Refugio for dinner that’s just a few steps away and serves great food and wonderful DOCG wines at reasonable prices. The room was clean and stylish and very well kept. I will be back!
