Portrait Firenze in Firenze, open June–September.
Portrait Firenze stands apart as a 5-star hotel directly overlooking the Arno River on one of Florence's most prestigious addresses, offering unobstructed views of the Ponte Vecchio and Uffizi Gallery.
Rather than generic ballroom spaces, the venue provides intimate rooms with museum-quality art collections and floor-to-ceiling Renaissance architecture.
This is a working luxury hotel where your wedding guests stay in the same storied building as your celebration.
It’s hard to rate a hotel perfectly, but Portrait Firenze comes very close. Everything felt seamless and thoughtfully done. The welcome was outstanding. Modou greeted us warmly, spoke our language, and was genuinely hospitable and helpful. Teresa at the front desk was incredibly kind, she assisted us with recommendations, helped research places, stayed in touch via WhatsApp, and gave us a full tour of the suite. The hotel is fully equipped, the bed is extremely comfortable, and the location is easily the best in the city. This definitely won’t be our last stay. Portrait Firenze truly made our honeymoon special for my husband and me, and we’ll be back!
