Palazzo Seneca in Norcia, open JuneSeptember.

Palazzo Seneca stands as a meticulously restored 16th-century Renaissance palace in the heart of Norcia, a medieval town in Umbria's Sibillini Mountains.

Originally built in 1550 as a nobleman's residence, the palazzo was painstakingly restored following the 2016 earthquake to preserve its original frescoes, stone archways, and period architecture.

Today it operates as a luxury hotel and wedding venue, offering couples an authentic Italian destination experience within centuries-old walls.

We arrived at our second home. Everyone was so so helpful in everything. The town is beautiful, the Michelin star restaurant was very good and generous in pampering and excellent service. Our room was a little small and the TV was in a different section from the bedroom, but This is an old house and I understand the constraints . Rooms and common areas were very clean. Above all I would like to stress again the wonderful service. Specifically Laura, Michaela, Martina and Sergei as well as the waiters at the Bianconi restaurant across the street.
