Palazzo Zimara in Lecce.
Palazzo Zimara rises from the heart of Lecce's historic center, its honey-colored Baroque façade defining the skyline of Italy's most ornate southern city.
Stone archways and centuries-old walls frame intimate courtyards where ceremonies unfold against authentic Renaissance architecture.
The palazzo's rooftop terraces command panoramic views across the Salentine Peninsula, where rolling olive groves meet the Adriatic horizon.
We had a wonderful stay at Palazzo Zimara. The building is beautiful and our room was lovely with lots of nice amenities. The location is fantastic, so close to the key sights of Lecce. All staff at the hotel including the front desk and restaurants, made extra efforts to accomodate all requests. The food was delicious and the dinner menu had some unique dishes based on regional speciallities. We enjoyed other excellent restauarnts in Lecce which were recommended and booked by the concierge. There was only one minor concern which was that the room temperature was too warm and a/c was no longer available in October. We were provided with a fan but it was not ideal. In any case, we still highly recommend this amazing hotel.
