A year later and still such a special memory ❤️ Today marks exactly one year since we got engaged at the Palace Hotel in Como, Italy and I figured it was finally time to write the review we never got around to writing! This was our first trip to Italy and our first time in Lake Como. We were there with David’s parents celebrating their anniversary, and we all stayed at the Palace Hotel. We were only there for two nights, but we absolutely loved it. The hotel is in such a great location, close to everything, with beautiful views of Lake Como. Everyone was so friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, and the breakfast was amazing — definitely better than we were expecting from a continental breakfast. But of course, what made this hotel really special for us was Room 120. On August 3, 2025, David proposed to me right there in our room, by the big window doors overlooking Lake Como. ❤️ It wasn’t something that had been planned with the hotel or anything like that. It just happened in the moment, which honestly made it even more special. So here we are exactly one year later, finally leaving our review! We had such a wonderful stay and made memories there that we will never forget. Palace Hotel and Room 120 will always have a special place in our hearts. We can't wait for our next trip to Lake Como for one of our own anniversaries! ❤️ Maria & David
