Thoroughly enjoyed visiting this sumptuous palace and gardens. Historic and beautifully appointed, well worth taking the house tour by the charming and passionate guide. The gardens are also lovely and well kept, full of blossoms, statues, fountains, and gorgeous azulejas. Pairs well with a visit to the zoological gardens, seems a different world but really still quite close to central Lisbon.
