The room did not have air conditioning because of the time of year. Heat was the only option. It was very warm outside, so the room was very warm. If I opened the window I had bugs flying around my head all night long in addition to the bright lights shinning in from outside. I was so warm I was not able to sleep. I was in Bordeaux for work and the company had booked the entire group at this hotel, so I was not able to relocate. The hotel did not have wash clothes but had liquid soap in the shower. This was a first for me. The room also did not have a phone, so I had to walk down to the front desk at 1130pm the first night of my stay to ask about the climate control. That is when I was told to turn the system off because it is only heat this time of year. I spoke to many of my colleagues and they also complained about their room being hot. On my last night at the hotel, kids were running up and down the hallway around midnight. This lasted for about 20 minutes.
