The property is a set of villas and suites stepping down a hillside at Stelida, above Agios Prokopios, built in local stone and cedar with most units carrying a private pool.
It is family-run, which shows in the food and in the way the estate is farmed rather than landscaped.
For a wedding, the useful facts are that the villas can be taken together, that the hillside gives a real sunset line to the west, and that Naxos costs meaningfully less than Santorini an hour’s ferry away, so a guest list that would be painful there is manageable here.

Wasn’t overall solid location with a great breakfast and friendly staff. We ended up with the four bedroom villa, but it had a very awkward layout and set up, but it was nice having two outdoor pools.

How do guests reach Naxos?+
Naxos (JNX) airport takes small propeller aircraft from Athens only, so most guests arrive by ferry. Piraeus to Naxos is about four to five hours on the fast boats, and Santorini and Mykonos are each around an hour away by high-speed catamaran.
Is Naxos cheaper than Santorini for a wedding?+
Yes, noticeably. Rooms, suppliers and transport all price below Santorini and Mykonos, which is the main reason to consider it for a larger guest list. Set against that, more of your budget goes on getting people to the island in the first place.
What do guests do on Naxos?+
Agios Prokopios and Plaka are two of the best beaches in the Cyclades and are minutes away. Inland there are mountain villages, marble quarries with unfinished kouros statues lying in them, and Mount Zas for anyone who wants a climb.
When is the season?+
May through early October. July and August carry the meltemi wind and the ferry crowds, so late May, June, September and early October are the better windows, with warm sea and a working island rather than a full one.
