On my arrival, I must say the man that checked me in was not a customer service person you would expect, however every staff members that I dealt with after that were lovely and friendly and very helpful. The room was beautiful and very comfortable and a great size. The ambiance of the room, pool and eating area was really lovely. The pool was a good size to cool down in and is surrounded by the hotel so sun is a little limited. It was a clean pool, but I did notice the grout looked like it needed a clean or more pool chemicals. The hotel building had a traditional style which added to the appeal. They have a shuttle tuk tuk to take you to town but sometimes they don’t have a driver. The breakfast is reasonable but is a little repetitive ( as I stayed 10 nights) a little variation would be beneficial. It is on the outskirts of the old town but you can walk easily anywhere in Chiang Mai so it’s not an issue and there is always grab. It is a lovely hotel and the gentle staff that work there make it comfortable. I will definitely stay again! They also have a beautiful fish that I have named Bluey ( as he is blue!)
