A return visit to this beautiful eco-hotel. Small (9 rooms) and intimate, run by the delightful Alexandre & Susana. It's a haven of peace away from the world. Lovely interesting rooms - from very comfortable doubles to larger rooms with well-fitted bathrooms and several with hot tubs! Super comfortable (large) beds and great showers. Eco-friendly products. Set into a hilltop landscape, close to the Spanish border, the building is modern and smart. It includes an indoor pool, sauna, steam room and gym area, plus an outside pool. Now even more sunbeds and places to relax and sunbathe or stay in the shade. Several hammocks :-) Beautiful breakfast with local products and good coffee. The fresh orange juice is wonderful. Close to several excellent restaurants, e.g. on the boardwalk in Monte Gordo. 15 minutes from the fabulous and less crowded Eastern Algarve beaches and the beauty of the Ria Formosa - 35 km of islands, channels and waterways. A garden of flowers, trees and herbs with oranges. Now many animals, including parrots! Our favourite Algarve destination.
