Mercure Palermo Centro in Palermo.
Located on Via Mariano Stabile in Palermo's historic center, Mercure Palermo Centro sits within the vibrant heart of Sicily's capital, surrounded by centuries-old architecture and bustling plazas.
The hotel occupies a strategic position where Renaissance buildings frame narrow streets leading to baroque churches and market squares.
From this central vantage point, guests experience the texture of authentic Palermo—terracotta rooftops, ornate balconies, and the constant energy of a city where Norman and Arab influences shaped every stone.
The reviews for this hotel are very mixed so I was a bit nervous about staying. I was so happy with our stay. Our rooms were so nice. The breakfast was delicious. Location is great! The front staff could not have been better! So nice and helpful! The only suggestion I would have for someone booking this hotel is to call ahead and verify what rooms and buildings you will be in if you have a large group. We had multiple rooms and were in multiple buildings. They were close by buildings but if you wanted to all be together in one building it would be worth calling. The rooms in the buildings not located in the main hotel seemed to be newer. Not sure if the rooms in the hotel have been renovated. That all being said would stay here again !
