Our experience with Le Manoir was nothing short of extraordinary. From the very first time we reached out about hosting our elopement there, we knew we were in the best possible hands. Every single member of their team, from the front of house staff to our event planner Jenny, the in-house florist Emma, the chefs and pastry chef Luke and Benoit, the sommelier went completely above and beyond to make our day perfect. Throughout the entire planning process, Jenny was always available to answer questions, talk through ideas, and accommodate any tweaks we wanted to make. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The team embraced our vision wholeheartedly, even transforming certain spaces to create a first-time dinner experience that felt intimate, personal, and uniquely ours. The attention to detail was simply unmatched. Every flower placement, every course, every small touch was considered and executed flawlessly. The culinary experience alone was exceptional - completely tailored to us! Each dish was crafted with such care and precision. What truly sets Le Manoir apart is the warmth and dedication of its team. They don’t just host you for events and stays, they create memories that feel deeply personal and incredibly special. Our stay and our wedding were beyond anything we could have imagined. Absolutely exceptional in every way. We will be back to see this venue and it’s team post refurbishment in 2027!

We had a celebration for a birthday last night. Everything started great. Some nice champagne then given the menu's. We chose the 7 course tasting menu but opted to avoid their pre-chosen wine lists as it would be too much alcohol and I preferred other wines on the general list. Then it started to go wrong. No one asked for our wine choices and no one asked what options we wanted from the menu. Occasionally a course has a choice. The Sommelier proceeded to somehow diss every wine we had chosen, seemingly forgetting these were wines from THEIR menu. If they think the vintage is not good they should offer the better vintage. It was weird to be honest. First time I have heard anyone put down a Margaux and Montrachet from their own establishments wine list.. On the food they just had made the choice for us and when challenged the realisation sunk in that one or two folk hadn't done their job. Overall the food was fine, not spectacular but nothing overly jarring. We actually loved the wine we had and finished with a good whisky. We asked for the service charge to be reduced as it appears a few have already checked out prior to the renovation. We stayed recently at the Grove of Narbeth in Pembrokeshire and their fine dining was actually superior and their sommelier fun, witty and engaging.

What an experience!! My husband and I stayed here for our 10th wedding anniversary and it exceeded our expectations from the second we arrived until the second we left. The staff fell over themselves to help us. Nothing was too trivial or too much trouble. From the second we walked into the reception, we felt special and that continued throughout our stay. Staff were cheerful, helpful and dedicated to ensuring we received a top-class service. From complimentary champagne on arrival to a complimentary goodie bag upon departure, no stone of impeccable service was left unturned. My husband and I did the Birds of Prey Experience which was outstanding. Clive (and his wife) were welcoming and knowledgeable. I think he appreciated our enthusiasm, he was such a friendly person and kept wanting to show us more and more. He and his wife assisted us with handling the birds and having them fly to and fro. We also watched as Clive showed us how he trains the birds. The passion Clive has for the birds and for what he does is extremely evident and a joy to see. His connection and bond with the birds were also very apparent. This experience was definitely a highlight and I would recommend it to anyone. The room was spectacular and luxurious. We were given what was the original Master bedroom which overlooked the courtyard. Everything was perfect and the small details made it even more special. A hand-written anniversary card was left for us which we very much appreciated and the lemon drizzle cake made in the restaurant kitchens was the best I've ever tasted! They also had cake boxes in the room so that we could take it home! Dinner was out of this world! We chose the tasting menu. 8/9 dishes of perfection. Small plates, stunning to the eye and packed with bags of flavour. The bread basket, brought round several times, were too delicious to refuse. By the end of the meal, we were so full we had to take our petit fours to go. These were savoured the next morning. Waiting staff were knowledgeable about the food, very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast the next morning was an absolute delight. A table full of the most incredible looking and tasting fruits, cheeses and meats. Plus a variety of cereals. Another table full of the most perfect looking French pastries and breads. The cooked breakfast, again, was packed with flavour. There was a Bloody Mary Station and Chamgagne for those so inclined. After breakfast we had a tour of the gardens, offered daily at 9.45am. It was such a lovely end to the stay. A relaxed walked in the beautiful grounds with our lovely guide (sorry, I forgot his name) giving us an abundance of information on the history of Le Manoir and the foods they grow. He added a tour of the Japanese Garden. It was amazing and we were also able to taste the herbs and microgreens from the polytunnel. The time past far too quickly. Our stay was magical and unforgettable. This was not our average weekend so it was even more special. Thank you to all of the staff at Le Manoir for making our 10 year anniversary as perfect as it could be.
