While I’m giving this hotel the highest rating possible, I feel it’s important to share one area that truly needs improvement: the dinner menu. Although dinner was included in the room rate, the food options were very disappointing. When traveling to an exotic destination like Costa Rica, the last thing guests want is to be served standard U.S.-style food. My sincere recommendation to management is to revamp the dinner menu to feature authentic Costa Rican cuisine, prepared in a gourmet style. Trust me—asking your chef to showcase local flavors would make a tremendous difference and elevate the entire guest experience. That said, breakfast was excellent. The Gallo Pinto (rice and beans) with fried eggs was absolutely delicious and exactly what guests expect and appreciate when visiting Costa Rica. Aside from dinner, this hotel and its staff deserve far more than five stars—closer to ten. Leonardo at the front desk was outstanding: professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly hospitable. The property is perfectly located, beautifully maintained, and the private beach across the street is a huge bonus. The bartender there was fantastic, with amazing drinks that truly completed the experience. an exceptional hotel with world-class staff—improving the dinner menu to reflect Costa Rican culture would take this place from great to unforgettable
