Sisters Eva and Brigitte Zelger had Brixen architects bergmeisterwolf rebuild the house in 2017 around its heritage-protected barn, and the result took an AIT Award special mention: charred-timber volumes, three freestanding chalets, a saltwater infinity pool aimed straight at the Rosengarten, forest sauna, own vegetable gardens, and a 300-year-old bread oven still in use.
There’s no formal weddings page — Pfösl is the region’s architect-designed elopement secret, photographed for intimate weddings on its meadows and terrace, with 67 rooms, suites and chalets when the whole family comes.
