Hotel Guarracino in Capri.
Built in 1962, Hotel Guarracino occupies a prime clifftop position on Capri's legendary coastline, originally developed as a residential retreat before transforming into the intimate hospitality venue it remains today.
The property underwent careful restoration to preserve its mid-century character while modernizing guest accommodations and event spaces.
Perched 60 meters above the Tyrrhenian Sea, it offers unobstructed Mediterranean views and direct access to private beach facilities.
There is an expression you eat as much as you pay. And you pay very little here by capri standards so you shouldn't expect a lot. The rooms were okay and the staff were kind. There are a few issues that I need to bring up though first the rooms are very loud. We could hear everyone through the walls. Also our first night here there was a party outside and we couldn't sleep a wink until they were done. Second the bed sheets had stains on them which was not nice to say the least. And finally the wifi signal in our room was very weak. We couldn't really connect which is a major issue. Still their hospitality made me feel I can overlook these issues enough for 4 stars. With a little improvement they can do so much better. Two other minor points: thr hotel room key is an actual key connected to a heavy Keychain. That's hard to move around. You should change the system to cards perhaps or go for a smaller Keychain. Also some sound proofing would go a long way!
