What a great surprise! We booked 3 hotels during our weeks road trip and despite my concerns after having read the reviews, this little, family run hotel, by far exceeded my expectations and was the best we stayed in last week!!! Excellent location where you can walk into the village for bars and restaurants; and drive easily to Lake Como attractions. The welcome was warm and caring, our room was also warm, comfortable bed, good bathroom, TV with approx 100 channels (all in Italian, but with sport and music channels - we are in Italy after all so no problem for us!!) A mini fridge allowed us to keep our medication chilled and also our water bottles. The only down side was no tea or coffee in the room.The breakfast was excellent, and our host even made us a coffee and wrapped up croissants for us to take away when we left early on the last day for our flight!!!! A huge thankyou to our host (Déborah???) who has a great sense of humour and made us feel so welcome! If we are luck enough to come back to Italy, we would happily return and have no hesitation in recommending this hidden gem!
