01 · In a sentence

Hotel Bellavista in Valmadrera.

Perched above Lake Como's eastern shore, Hotel Bellavista commands sweeping views across the water toward the Alpine foothills beyond.

The property's elevated position in Valmadrera offers unobstructed sightlines of the lake's dramatic landscape, with terraces and outdoor spaces that frame the natural backdrop for ceremonies and receptions.

Stone architecture and mature gardens blend seamlessly with the surrounding terrain, creating an intimate venue that feels both grand and grounded.

This is a quirky old school hotel in great location. Carlo and Christina run a tight ship and the rooms and common areas are immaculate. Breakfast is great with a superb view and the location is lovely and quiet. There are a few eating options in walking distance. We were there as a group on a cycling holiday and they were very easy to deal and most accommodating. We would stay again.
