This spot was exactly what I hoped it would be! I’d agree with others that the rooms are pretty basic and the walls are a bit thin, but neither of those things bothered me. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the view was lovely. Best part to me is that they are dog friendly and they can run around on the golf course out back bc it’s a dog friendly golf course! The grounds are super cute, with both a first-floor patio and a second-floor deck overlooking the lake. The location is really what makes this place shine, you can literally walk across the road and be at the lake, and you’re right in the heart of town with easy access to restaurants, shops, and everything else Tahoe City has to offer. Another nice touch is that they offer free drip coffee at their restaurant each morning for hotel guests! I also ate there and the food was really great, making it a convenient and delicious option during my stay. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place in an unbeatable location, I’d definitely recommend staying here!
