The building underwent meticulous restoration to honor its architectural heritage while integrating modern hospitality standards.
Today, it operates as an 11-room luxury hotel where couples exchange vows in spaces steeped in Mediterranean history.
We just stayed at Domus Renier in January. The location is fabulous, and we enjoyed the relaxed, quiet atmosphere in Chania at this time of year. The hotel was gorgeous and everyone we interacted with went above and beyond to ensure our stay was special and memorable. They offered fantastic recommendations and helped to coordinate a driver for a 4-hour tour of sights just outside Chania. The breakfasts were delicious with a tower of pastries, smoothies, and yogurt followed by an entree selection (and, of course, espresso!) Our room was beautiful, and the view of the harbor was spectacular. Thank you to all of the hotel staff we had the pleasure of meeting!
