A gem of a find!! Review of Dimitra Boutique Hotel Pending review Reviewed The Dimitra Hotel is a gem! Tucked away in the charming backstreets of Poros but excellently located for all amenities. The Hotel and the staff are full of Greek charm & loveliness, which is missing from much of Greece these days. (However, those with disabilities should be aware that to access the hotel requires negotiating a number of ancient greek steps.) We had a triple room, with two sets of doors onto the long narrow balcony, with a view of the surrounding Greek architecture. The room itself also had a window at each end, one over the head of the bed with a sea view, the other, above the Sofa, looked across the town towards the clock tower. We had a beautifully comfortable king size Greek four poster bed. there was also a sofa bed in the room, which was very spacious. Storage was limited but we did overpack. The staff were amazing, and perfectly happy to accommodate any requests we had. Shout out to the receptionist, who I believe was called Zoe and the cleaner who I believe was called Louisa, they work so hard and always greet you with a lovely smile :) Breakfast is served on the roof top terrace, with stunning views over the port, in a calm relaxing environment. The breakfast itself, offered a good fresh variety of food from a limited cooked offering to pastries, yoghurts, meats and cheeses, with fresh orange juice, lemon water & coffee. In the evening the rooftop terrace becomes a bar, operated by a different family but where the team of Michael, Evi & Dimitri offer amazing Greek hospitality, including food, which can be enjoyed whilst watching the incredible sunset. We had a great 5 night stay and highly recommend.!
