My recent trip to Lisbon was unforgettable, and the highlight was without a doubt the hotel. The service was impeccable, and the location couldn’t be more central. The complimentary breakfast is made to order from the menu, and the quality rivals any Sunday brunch I’ve had in NYC. Easily a $100 value here. The hotel also offers FREE walking tour for duration of one and half hours. The tour is fantastic and the guide is very friendly. One small moment truly stood out: I had developed a sore throat and casually mentioned to a staff member—while he was helping me book train tickets to Porto—that I was craving watermelon to soothe the dryness. He gently noted the watermelon wasn’t quite in season, so the hotel won't include it in the fruit plates of the buffet. Then he asked me to wait for two hours. About 90 minutes later, a plate of perfectly sliced watermelon arrived at my room. Everyone in my group agreed—if we ever return to Lisbon, we’d choose the same hotel without hesitation. Even back in New York, I still find myself missing the warm smiles and greetings from the staff every time we returned after a day of exploring. I can’t recommend it enough.
