01 · In a sentence

Corte Maddalena in Capoterra, open AprilAugust.

Corte Maddalena stands apart in Sardinia for operating as a working agricultural estate that doubles as an intimate hotel venue, offering guests the rare opportunity to marry surrounded by functioning vineyards and olive groves rather than purely manicured grounds.

This 4.7-star rated property in Capoterra delivers authentic rural elegance with direct access to the countryside, eliminating the disconnect between ceremony spaces and guest accommodations.

The venue's farm-to-table approach and on-site production facilities create a dining experience rooted in hyper-local terroir.

Hidden gem. Especially handy as close to the airport for an early flight or late arrival and for the ones who want to avoid Cagliari. The rooms are super modern and great attention to detail. Which is usually not the case on Sardinia. Self check in and no reception as such. Which I found very convenient. Beach 10metres away as well as a seafood /pizza restaurant. Pizza was great. Can fully recommend Corte Maddalena and the pizza place!
