CiasaSalares
The Wieser family has run Ciasa Salares since 1964, and the third generation has turned it into Alta Badia’s most romantic food story: when their two-Michelin-star La Siriola closed, they built Cocun — a candlelit restaurant set inside the 24,000-bottle wine cellar — and added dedicated cheese and chocolate rooms alongside the Sorí restaurant and Infiní terrace.

Ciasa Salares in San Cassiano, open April–November.
The wood-and-stone house sits at Armentarola on the edge of the Fanes-Senes-Braies nature park, a hundred metres from the lift, facing the Conturines.
Weddings run from meadow ceremonies in summer to snow weekends in winter, with brunches at Sorí and cellar dinners at Cocun — a family-run, gastronomy-first alternative to the big-brand alpine hotels, with roughly fifty rooms for the wedding party.

Asked along the way.
How many guests can Ciasa Salares host?+
The hotel has roughly 47–51 rooms and suites, so a wedding party of about 100 can sleep on site. Seated ceremony and reception figures aren’t published — the house quotes per event. Capacity figures here are estimates from the property’s scale.
When can you marry at Ciasa Salares?+
Two seasons: early December to early April, and early June to the end of September. The hotel closes between seasons — plan dates inside those windows.
What makes a Ciasa Salares wedding different?+
The food. Ceremony in the meadows, aperitivo on the Infiní terrace, dinner in the Cocun wine cellar among 24,000 bottles, and courses from a kitchen that once held two Michelin stars — all run personally by the Wieser family.
