Château Pape Clément in Pessac, open AprilAugust.

Château Pape Clément sits on 32 hectares of Bordeaux vineyard landscape, with sweeping views across rolling rows of heritage vines and the Gironde Valley beyond.

The 14th-century estate commands elevated terraces overlooking its own classified wine production, creating a backdrop of authentic French viticultural heritage.

Stone architecture and manicured grounds provide both grandeur and intimacy for ceremonies and receptions.

A truly memorable experience. The tour was incredibly informative, and the guide’s storytelling was engaging and inspiring. We learned so much — not only about wine, but about the history and spirit of the place. The estate is beautiful, with a charming garden and several olive trees that are nearly 2,000 years old. You can genuinely feel history here — it is present in every corner, creating a deep sense of authenticity and continuity. This is far more than just a wine tasting. It is an immersive journey into heritage, atmosphere, and timeless tradition. Highly recommended.
