Château Dauzac in Labarde.
Built in 1740, Château Dauzac stands as one of Bordeaux's most storied wine estates, its neoclassical architecture restored to highlight original 18th-century elegance.
Originally constructed as a grand residential manor for the region's wine-producing aristocracy, the château has been meticulously preserved while adapting to modern hospitality.
Today, it functions as a luxury hotel and events venue, maintaining its historic character across 32 hectares of Médoc vineyards.
We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming chateau, and our experience was fantastic! The guest room was beautifully designed with a modern interior. The value for money is good, especially considering the level of hospitality we received. The staff went above and beyond to attend to our needs with genuine warmth and care. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast provided by the chef, which was way above our expectations. It was better than what we had in many five-star hotels—delicious and beautifully presented! The chateau itself is very spacious, and the environment is peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed a lovely stroll on the second day before our dinner plans, soaking in the serene surroundings. We wholeheartedly recommend this lovely chateau to our friends and family, and we look forward to returning in the future!
