What a special place! We are Canadian and came to the Loire Valley and Tours region in January. Rented a car at the airport, drove 240km outside of Paris and all through the region - and had a chance to stay at the Chateau. It was comfortable and well kept, food was wonderful and the grounds were immaculate. The staff were welcoming and friendly. They did not miss a beat, not a single question went unanswered. We went for walks on the grounds and to the Intermarche supermarket (3km away - easy walk) to get all the cheeses of course. Highly recommend this to anyone, but especially if you come from a cold climate in during off season. A balmy +10 is easy weather to mange compared to back home. It wasn’t busy so we had a chance to really enjoy the Chateau and the region.

Service is impeccable: professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Dining was outstanding, with cuisine and wine perfectly matched to the atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the magnificent view from the terrace. A remarkable experience from start to finish — refined, peaceful, and unforgettable.

Beautiful Chateau Hotel, lovely staff who are confident English speakers. Nice Spa with Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Plus treatments. The restaurant is high quality, expensive. The hotel lets itself down with poor maintenance and house keeping. The central heating in the annex (pavilion) was not working in December when it was freezing outside. The shower didn’t drain properly and the conditioner bottle in the shower was broken.
