Guests arrive at a 19th-century château where manicured gardens and Loire Valley views set the tone for multi-day celebrations.
Le Domaine de la Tortinière offers on-site accommodation, allowing wedding parties to extend the experience beyond the ceremony—guests wake to château grounds, share meals in restored dining rooms, and depart with genuine connection rather than rushed goodbyes.
Rated 4.7/5, this hotel venue combines the intimacy of a country estate with professional hospitality infrastructure.
We stayed in the castle for two nights. With its little towers, the castle looks like something out of a fairy tale. We stayed in the master bedroom — the only room in the entire hotel with a lovely little balcony overlooking the back garden, the pool, and the distant landscape. The room was very cozy, with a wide and comfortable bed. The service at the hotel was excellent; the staff were very friendly and caring. Around the castle, there is a large park and forest trails perfect for outdoor activities. The pool is heated, so even in mid-October it was delightful to swim there. We truly enjoyed our stay in this charming castle.

Asked along the way.
Can we host both ceremony and reception at the château?+
Yes. The estate has designated outdoor ceremony spaces (gardens and terrace) and multiple climate-controlled reception venues. Most couples use the grounds for daytime events and the pavilion or dining halls for evening celebrations.
What's included if guests stay overnight?+
Room rates include breakfast. Dinner packages, welcome receptions, and welcome baskets can be customized. Most multi-day weddings arrange Friday welcome dinners and Sunday farewell brunches at tiered pricing.
Are external vendors allowed?+
The venue has preferred florists, photographers, and caterers but will consider outside vendors with advance approval. A service coordination fee applies for non-preferred vendors.
What's the closest airport?+
Tours Val de Loire Airport (TUF) is 20 km away with 45-minute transfer time. Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) is 2.5 hours via train or car for international guests.
When is the best season to book?+
May-June and September-October offer ideal weather and garden blooms. Summer (July-August) books fastest. Winter events receive special pricing.
