We stayed in the castle for two nights. With its little towers, the castle looks like something out of a fairy tale. We stayed in the master bedroom — the only room in the entire hotel with a lovely little balcony overlooking the back garden, the pool, and the distant landscape. The room was very cozy, with a wide and comfortable bed. The service at the hotel was excellent; the staff were very friendly and caring. Around the castle, there is a large park and forest trails perfect for outdoor activities. The pool is heated, so even in mid-October it was delightful to swim there. We truly enjoyed our stay in this charming castle.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful and well-appointed hotel. The view of the valley is stunning and the pool that sits below the château, provides a striking view of the architecture and a welcome relief after the heat of the Loire. The staff is charming, the breakfast vast and thoughtfully arranged, and the rooms are well-appointed. Be warned that the open shower in our bathroom repeatedly flooded the floor which was a bit of a drag but it did dry each day. Although the château is well-situated, it is off a large, unattractive road and not at all what I think of when I imagine the Loire. This gives the hotel good proximity to many routes but it isn’t the charming approach I had hoped for when booking. That was my mistake and no fault of the hotel’s. Overall, this is a very pleasant place to stay. We had dinner at the hotel and it was mediocre. Eat elsewhere. There is fabulous food all around you in the Loire.

We had a last minute booking and there was a mix up with the booking, Adrian helped us resolve our reservation issues. We arrived late at night and had help to check in with our large luggage. The entire place had charm and character. It is dog friendly, which is a huge plus. We managed to have one of the most delicious dinners at the restaurant and unwind at the bar before bed. We enjoyed our brief stay, wish we stayed longer, will definitely visit again. The only negative I will say is that the water was not hot enough in the taps, and there is no lift/elevator. But we did not let this put us off from visiting in the future.

Frequently asked questions

Can we host both ceremony and reception at the château?
Yes. The estate has designated outdoor ceremony spaces (gardens and terrace) and multiple climate-controlled reception venues. Most couples use the grounds for daytime events and the pavilion or dining halls for evening celebrations.
What's included if guests stay overnight?
Room rates include breakfast. Dinner packages, welcome receptions, and welcome baskets can be customized. Most multi-day weddings arrange Friday welcome dinners and Sunday farewell brunches at tiered pricing.
Are external vendors allowed?
The venue has preferred florists, photographers, and caterers but will consider outside vendors with advance approval. A service coordination fee applies for non-preferred vendors.
What's the closest airport?
Tours Val de Loire Airport (TUF) is 20 km away with 45-minute transfer time. Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) is 2.5 hours via train or car for international guests.
When is the best season to book?
May-June and September-October offer ideal weather and garden blooms. Summer (July-August) books fastest. Winter events receive special pricing.
