Can we have our ceremony at the castle itself?+

Civil ceremonies must be held in the halls of the Municipality of Assisi, located nearby. However, religious services can take place in churches throughout Assisi, just 15 minutes away. Receptions, blessings, and celebrations all occur within the castle's indoor and outdoor spaces.

What's included in the accommodation packages?+

Weekend packages (Friday–Sunday) include 22 castle rooms for up to 60 guests, continental breakfast, access to the spa and heated swimming pool, panoramic outdoor jacuzzi, tennis court, and exclusive use of all indoor and outdoor venue areas for your entire stay. Glamping tents (April–October) cost €160 for 2 guests for 2 nights or €240 for 3 nights.

Do we have to use the castle's catering?+

Yes, Castello di Petrata is fully-catered. Wedding menus start at €180 per person in high season (based on 75 guests). All other vendors—florists, musicians, videographers—are welcome and arranged independently.

What if it rains on our wedding day?+

Both ceremonies and dinners can move indoors into the castle's halls, which accommodate up to 250 guests. The venue also features a panoramic outdoor jacuzzi and covered areas, ensuring weather never disrupts celebrations.

How far are the airports?+

Assisi Train Station is 15 minutes away. Perugia's San Francesco d'Assisi Airport is 25 minutes; Rome Fiumicino is 2 hours; Florence and Pisa are 2–3 hours respectively. Most guests arrive via train or car from central Italy.
