Wow what a place A true castle with beautiful scenery a gorgeous walk on both sides You can see the vineyards nearby The staff was absolutely amazing especially Elize. She checked us in quickly And set us up with spa for 2 (highly recommend) was so relaxing after a long day. Then later dinner was very good she was the host, waitress, and front desk. The hotel was like staying in a true castle the rooms were great. Very spacious beds were comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely amazing

Beautiful property but missing some attention to detail Stayed here for our anniversary and it's a beautiful place. The bed was impossibly squeaky. Every time you turned around it made noise. The spa was nice but for 50€/hour pricy. We had requested a bottle of prosecco but it was forgotten. Once I asked, they brought us 2 complimentary glasses. The path from the parking lot which is lit, ends at a wall. There are a lot of stink bugs around, but I know they are a problem everywhere so not sure if anything can be done about that. All in all, it is a special place but some attention to detail would make it truly luxury.

We were randomly travelling around Italy (pre-COVID) for our 25th wedding anniversary and I stumbled upon this place. We booked a standard room but got upgraded to their 2-storey suite up top with the great views. We didn't realise until later that we were the only people staying here. We got the full history tour of the place and the results are fantastic. It was a real pleasure to stay here and wander around the local streets...like a local. We ate in-house one night and the service and quality was beyond compare. We loved it. I imagine the pool would add to the experience, but it was still spring when we stayed and the Giro had just taken off from Bologna. Summer would be awesome!
