This was my first time in this part of Italy, and it was a great experience! Umbria is apparently Italy’s «bread basket» and it was fun (being from Norway) to be in such a fertile area. Castello di Monticelli is a very charming, nice and friendly place to stay in the middle of all this – I had a great time there and I highly recommend it! It’s also close to the lovely city Perugia. I would also like to give special praise to the kitchen and the cooks – the food was amazing, probably the best I’ve had in any hotel or resort. Thanks 🥰
